Happy Friday, friends! Yesterday I realized I never put up pictures from our day at the creamery so that’s what this post is going to be! A few weekends ago we went to Hawks Hill Creamery to continue to do all the fun Fall things with Grayson. It was our first time going and it didn’t disappoint. Especially since it not only had a million things to do for kids, it also had a little beer garden with the yummiest (at least that’s what I was told) pumpkin beers. Kyle enjoyed those as Grayson found many different ways to entertain himself. As I always say, the Fall is definitely my favorite season and we will never, ever get sick of all things pumpkin and apple crisp.
The first thing we saw when we walked in was this “big, big tractor!” and of course Grayson had to climb all over it and admire it’s “big, big wheels!” It’s really the cutest thing how obsessed he is with all things tractors and cars/trucks.
We didn’t get too much further until Grayson spotted the 20 kiddie cars and tractors and spent a good 15 minutes trying out each one. We literally had to pry him away from these…. he could have went around in circles sitting on each one, all day.
We went straight to the beer garden and got some pumpkin beers and food. They decorated with wood tables and metal chairs, which I love that style. Grayson found his favorite spot next to the bar that was filled in with tiny rocks and he kept going back there and jumping all over the rocks. I’m sure he was some good entertainment for the bartenders ;) I then proceeded to take these photos of the two boys as they ate and realized that they are basically the same person. I mean, they have the same facial expressions and everything. I laughed so hard when I looked at these. Just look at the first and last picture….. like father, like son!
Then we got him this water bottle where he proceeded to open, take a sip, close, open, take a sip, close, open, take a sip, close until it was gone. He did share a sip with me, which I appreciated ;)
Grayson had the best time playing in the corn kettle box. Especially when daddy joined because then it get’s extra fun! This is another place he could have spent hours at ;)
The pumpkin patch was the last stop…. we actually already had and carved our pumpkins (and it was slim pickins at this time) so we didn’t end up getting one but we did have a lot of fun pulling Grayson around in the wagon and I know he had fun riding in it! Guys…. I am so sad this season is coming to an end already! It feels like it flew by.
On a separate note though, Thanksgiving is in two weeks (two weeks?!?!) and I’m so excited because all of the cousins will be together this year. I plan to do some fun Thanksgiving activities this year with Grayson and start some new traditions! We also plan to take our Christmas card pictures this weekend and I just really hope and pray that Grayson corporates for a few of them ;)
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
