Happy Friday, friends! I can’t wait to start posting on this blog more often and start sharing our families journey once more. I kind of took a hiatus there for a while…. but I’m back and excited to start writing again! Let’s do some Friday favorites today!
If you saw my Instagram post yesterday, you know I’m struggling to lose the baby weight from baby #2. The weight seemed to just fall off after baby #1 and it’s not so easy this time. I downloaded the SWEAT app/BBG program on my phone and have done a few of the workouts at home while baby is napping. I am definitely sweating by the end of them! I also love that they provide playlists because I am an idiot when it comes to music. I listened to the cardio playlist while running the other day and loved it. I still plan to go back to the gym a few times a week once Maya hits 6 weeks next week (they don’t take baby’s until 6 weeks). I’m a class snob!
I’m into overnight oats lately and have been experimenting with different mixtures to have for breakfast. I liked the Peanut Butter Overnight Oats by Minimalist Baker (because duh, peanut butter). I’ve tried a few other ones that I haven’t liked as much. If you have a flavor/mixture you’ve loved, please share!

I asked you guys on my Instagram for recommendations on how to treat Maya’s dry skin on her cheeks and many of you suggested coconut oil. I got the Vita Coco Organic Virgin Coconut Oil and it’s been working! I spread it on her face with a cotton ball in the morning and at night and maybe once during the day if it’s needed. Her skin is no longer red and irritated and it’s slowly getting smoother! I’m so thankful!
