Time for a Friday favorites post! Things have been really great here in Charlotte lately. The weather has been awesome with the beginning stages of transitioning to Fall. It’s kind of that weird time a year though where mornings are cool and afternoons are warm, so I am always confused with how I should be dressing/dressing the kids. I look silly by noon in my leggings & sweater combo ;)
This weekend we were invited to a birthday party for one of the girls at Grayson’s daycare/school, so we are super excited to meet some of the other parents & make friends with people who have kids. Is it weird I’m kind of nervous?! It’s hard making friends as an adult! haha!
My favorite coffee shop, Brakeman’s (if you follow me on instagram, you know I’m there way too much ha!) launched their new Fall menu and it’s to die for! I had the Vermont Maple Latte today and it was Fall in my mouth.
I have found the ultimate “cook book” for busy Mamas who are looking for ideas for dinner that will also feed a hungry husband, a toddler AND a baby. In Feeding a Family: A Real-Life Plan for Making Dinner Work, she gives delicious meals for each season, gives tips on how your toddler/kids can help during the cooking process and she gives tips on how to use the meal you just made to feel the baby too. For me, this is awesome. She’s done all the work for me and I just need to follow the steps. My kind of book. Highly recommended!
Maya is growing at a crazy rate and has basically outgrown all her clothes already, so it gave me an excuse to buy her an amazing new fall wardrobe! Dressing a girl is so much fun! I love all the tights, shoes, dresses, & accessories. I knew I was in trouble when we found at she was a girl, but man. It’s hard to refrain from buying everything. I love these tights, I got them in pink, black & the winter wine color. I also got these cat tights…. because, HOW CUTE!
It’s officially Fall next week, so it’s time to start putting out those decorations. Here is some inspiration for front door wreaths! 40 Fall wreaths you’re going to be obsessed with.
We are all about the holiday books for our kids. I got Grayson Ghosts in the House! last year, which he still requests to read all year around. I have to choose a new one for this year, so I’ll be looking through this 50 fabulous children’s books for Fall list to find the best ones!
Happy Friday, everyone! Enjoy your weekends with your families! :)
