We had a meeting with our wedding planner/venue on Tuesday and I feel much better now that we have a schedule and an idea of where things will be going on the big day. I was trying to vision everything in it’s place as I sat there in the reception hall and I’m not going to lie, I got pretty emotional. We have less than 3 months to go and I’m really hoping it turns out how I want it to in my head. If not, it will be okay because I still get to marry my best friend!!!! Finally ;)
The picture below I took 4th of July weekend. He just looked so stinkin’ cute & happy that I had to share. Now on to Friday favorites!
I’m not sure why but I’m been on a pink/flower kick lately with the clothes I’ve been choosing. I love that they scream fun & summer. I found this Eliza J dress at Nordstrom and fell in love immediately. If you have an event coming up that you want to dress up a bit for, I think it would be perfect! On a different spectrum of dresses, Old Navy is killin’ it with these Jersey Swing dresses. So comfortable to just throw on with a casual pair of sandals or dress it up with a long gold necklace and some wedges!
A co-worker of mine sent me some amazing marinades to try. One is for this fabulous flank steak and the other is for these honey porter glazed chicken skewers. I would totally win the best wife-to-be award if I made these for Kyle. If you end up making them, let me know how you like it!
I’ve been looking for a doormat for outside of our apartment since the day we moved in. I like the idea of getting one with our name on it after the wedding like this Mr and Mrs doormat from Pottery Barn. This Hello/Goodbye doormat is cute too. I’m also eyeing up this birdhouse doormat for a more colorful option!
I am now buying Grayson 12-18 month clothing that he can grow into in the next couple of months. This ILY Couture Birthday Dude t-shirt is absolutely adorable and would be perfect for him to wear on his big day! I really like this Mom Life is the Best Life sweatshirt from there too. I’d rock that everywhere, it’s so true!
I’m having a girls weekend this weekend in OC with some sorority friends (we do this annually) and I’m so excited to see everyone. Thanks to my parents and hubby-to-be for letting this Mama relax for a day! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
