It’s been a quite a week over here and lately I feel like there not enough hours in the day to finish everything on my to-do list. Does anyone else feel like that? I hope it’s not just me. I feel pretty accomplished when I do 2 out of the 8 things I really need to get done.
But let’s get right to these Friday favorites :)
Going to baby classes with Kyle has been a real treat. We decided to take a couple of classes just so we weren’t going into this whole baby thing completely blind. We had our last one this past Tuesday where we learned about infant safety. We also took a newborn class, which I think really opened Kyle’s eyes up to a lot of different things. I’ve done so much research that I pretty much knew everything but I’m still glad we went :) I also took a breastfeeding class, which in my opinion was kind of pointless. She mostly just talked about the benefits of breastfeeding and I just wanted to be like “Well, duh. That’s why everyone sitting in this class right now decided to do it.” We opted out of the childbirth class and I’ll let you know if that was the best or worst decision we’ve made. I guess we are a “let’s wing it” kind of couple…..
I had my first brainstorming meeting on Wednesday with the event planning company I am working for. We met and got fro-yo (yum) and talked about two events we were asked to create something for. I’m not going to lie, I was completely overwhelmed and since my brain basically feels like mush these days I just kind of sat back and listened to ideas being shot back and forth. I have a lot to learn but I am so excited for what’s to come. I plan on attending my first wedding in late October and I can’t wait!
I’ve been looking for a new blanket for our bed to replace our wilting comforter. I am in love with this quilt from anthropology. I love the colors and how vibrant it is. I know I’d be happy every time I walked in the room! (I might have to do some convincing to Kyle on that one though). I also love this one. I wish they weren’t so expensive though :(
These curtain rods are adorable and I want them in Grayson’s nursery. (Once we move out of my parents and he actually have a proper nursery of course).
I can’t get over how cute these wall arts are! The duck family is definitely my favorite.
We don’t really have many plans this weekend, which makes me kind of happy. I just want to relax with my babe because who know’s how many more weekends we have left to ourselves! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
